Conditions
We have an east swell running at about one and a half metres, with very light easterly winds at around 10 knots. There is a low tide at 8:00am and a high tide at 1:45pm. The winds aren’t going to be particularly strong, and the swell has enough push to continue running as the tide fills back in.
Best Place to Surf
The best places to surf are going to be the inner points of Noosa. The swell has enough push to come all the way through Nationals and into First Point. The best time to surf is likely to be after 10:00am, once the tide has turned and started pushing back in. With the swell running through into the higher tide, conditions should stay consistent across the points.
Recommended Boards
The best boards for the day are going to be the Vampire Performance Nose Rider, the Laguna Bay Sleepwalker single fins, and of course the Summer Vibe Foamies. These boards will all suit the clean point conditions and make the most of the push in the swell.
