Noosa Surf Report: Friday 13th – Sunday 15th February 2026

This is the Noosa surf report for Friday, February 13, Saturday, February 14, and Sunday, February 15.

Friday:
We’ve got a small swell out of the east, sitting around waist to chest high along the open beaches between Sunshine and Coolum. Conditions are more or less flat around Noosa itself. Winds are light out of the south, with a high tide around 6:00am and a low tide at about 12:30pm. We’ll see good conditions along the open beaches early, but it will most likely be blown out by around 10:00am as the southerly wind increases. Early starts will be key, especially for those surfing the exposed beach breaks.

Saturday:
A southeast swell with a bit more south in it is set to build throughout the day, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 metres. This swell will be driven by wind pushing up from the New South Wales coast. Open beaches are expected to be fairly bumpy and lumpy, but once the waves wrap around the corner into Noosa, there may be some small runners, particularly on the lower tide in the afternoon. There’s a low tide around 1:00pm, which could open up some fun options on the outer points, with the potential for a few okay waves, especially later in the day.

Sunday:
The wind-driven swell continues, running at about 2.5 metres from the southeast. Sunday is shaping up to deliver the best quality waves of the three days. We’ve got a high tide at 7:00am and a low tide around 1:30pm, setting up fun waves throughout the day. On the high tide, expect some great ones between the rock walls on Noosa Main Beach. As the tide drops, there should be some amazing waves on the outer points and through the national park section.
