Noosa Surf Conditions Overview
In Noosa, we have 9 to 10 second period swell out of the south-southeast, combined with a fairly strong southeasterly wind. There are some really fun smaller waves on the outer points around Noosa, particularly through Tea Tree Bay.
This afternoon, after lunchtime, there should also be some fun waves between the Rockwalls at Noosa Main Beach, making it a good option later in the day.
Nearby Surf Option
If you do not mind a 30-minute drive, there are some fun waves available at Alexandra Headland, especially around the Bluff. Conditions there should stay rideable for most of the day. It will be a little more blown out due to the wind, but there are still some enjoyable right-handers on offer.
Board Recommendation
For the best experience in these conditions, I recommend a Laguna Bay Sleepwalker longboard or a Summer Vibes foamy in the seven to nine foot range. These boards will help you make the most of the smaller, playful waves.
